Sky Fugitive

After a couple of shaky starts with renting an aerial drone, I decided to buy one. I had skin in the game, literally (Don’t ask.) After completing my short film, I took it with me when I worked in San Francisco, and later in Austin. I’ve executed many run and gun type shoots, but it’s harder with a drone. They attract a crowd, and people like to watch, ask questions, unaware of the amount of concentration it takes to not screw up. I’ve had brushes with law enforcement, and thankfully no citations. Initially a hobby, I was recently asked to shoot aerials for a Vice Media project.
