SYNOPSIS: Mah Jong and Cantonese culture was starting to build its own cultural currency with young Asians, starting with the cool YLL Mah Jong Club in SF and LA. I met Ryan, the founder, at a film premiere and he commissioned me to make a video that played at various events. The idea is to show mah jong in different eras and it instantly connected across generations.
